Custom Metal NFC Cards for a German Client | NFC Tap and QR Code

Our client for this project hails from Germany and commissioned a custom order of 100 metal NFC cards, intended primarily for offline store branding and driving customer traffic.

Each card features a built-in NFC chip pre-programmed with a link to the product's official website. Users with NFC-enabled smartphones can simply tap the card to instantly access and view product details.
The front of the card features a UV-printed logo, while the back displays a unique QR code. This ensures accessibility for users without NFC-enabled phones—they can simply scan the code to visit the site. This comprehensive approach caters to diverse user habits, making the cards perfect for in-store displays and for customers to easily share and drive traffic.

Each metal card features a unique, non-repeating QR code.
With orders involving such variable QR codes, the primary concern is the risk of insufficient data allocation by the factory—specifically, the occurrence of missing or broken code sequences during production. Should any numbers go missing, the cards must be remade, leading to delayed delivery and disruption of intended use.
Although we maintained meticulous oversight throughout the production process, a small number of codes did go missing midway through. We immediately stepped in to replace all missing cards for the client at no extra cost, ensuring neither additional expense for the client nor any delay in the final delivery schedule.
