The Spark of Entrepreneurship
My story began in Henan and grew up in Chongqing. During college, I not only gained knowledge, but was also lucky to meet my current wife. After graduation, I joined Shuanghui Group, started from the grassroots, and eventually became a regional manager. Just when everyone thought I could "lie flat", the company transferred me to an area where Shuanghui's ham sausage market was almost blank to develop the market.

This is indeed a difficult problem - no one is willing to take over, but I accepted the challenge with the mentality of "a newborn calf is not afraid of a tiger". The enthusiasm of the first two months was quickly defeated by reality until I found a key customer. This customer has a characteristic: he loves to drink. In order to get orders, I often have to accompany him to drink until late at night. It was these social activities that made me start thinking: If I start a business, can I better balance work and family?

The birth of the PVC card factory
By chance, my wife's brother Cui Wenfeng runs a paper printing factory. After learning that I had the idea of ​​starting a business, he fully supported me, not only providing industry resources, but also helping me understand printing equipment. Using my savings accumulated in Shuanghui as start-up capital, the prototype of Chongqing Colorful Technology Co., Ltd. began to take shape.

But starting a business is much more than just having funds and equipment. Faced with the crowded paper printing market, we decided to focus on the PVC card field. At that time, the PVC cards on the market were mainly monopolized by large factories, and the minimum order quantity was tens of thousands of cards. But we found an overlooked demand: "What about those customers who only need dozens or hundreds of cards?"

The difficult journey of breaking through market barriers
Advertising graphic stores became our breakthrough. However, it was not easy to convince these stores to trust a newly established PVC card factory. My partner and I promised "door-to-door delivery, no payment if not satisfied, order in the morning, pick up in the afternoon", and visit customers one by one on foot. "Chongqing people's own card factory" became our top concept at the time. We hope that Chongqing people can also afford low-volume and very high-quality cards.

On the technical level, we used combined printing to solve the problem of small batch orders. However, insufficient orders in the early stage led to a large number of blank pages, and we were losing money every day for two and a half months in a row - labor, site, material waste... That period was really tormenting. It was not until two and a half months later that we finally ushered in the first full printing page. At that moment, I knew that Chongqing Colorful Technology was finally on the right track.

Looking forward to the future
Looking back on this entrepreneurial journey, from a Shuanghui salesman to the founder of the PVC card factory, every step was full of challenges and full of rewards.
